Bulk Purchasing. It has often been our experience that our clients frequently experience the most disappointment with local item purchases not meeting their cost expectations or quality standards. Too many times, local items such as alcohol and drinking water are charged on a 'per unit basis'. Inevitably this makes your 'on-the-ground' expenditures higher than you expected. In fact, this is the most common cause for going over budget.

It is for this reason that we provide our clients a bulk purchasing service for comfort items (alcohol, drinking water, cool towels, t-shirts etc) and exotic items (pillow gifts, garlands, souvenirs etc). Because we represent dozens of clients, Evention can secure greater economies-of-scale from multi-source suppliers than any single client. It is common for us to secure higher item quality at lower unit cost than any local supplier or hotel. Furthermore, particular brands or items may also be unavailable 'locally' whereas we can bring these in as part of our cargo manifest.

We are also transparent! We gather multiple quotations for each item and submit these to our client along with our recommendation based upon supplier reliability. While we do charge a small service fee against each third-party invoice, this is more than offset by the savings we secure each client. At the same time, we also remove the worry (and risk?) from this part of your project, particularly since we also arrange any necessary storage and distribution of the items we have purchased on your behalf.
