Evention are not travel agents. We are a specialised
destination manager focusing upon customised group
travel, with a group size minimum of 50pax upwards.
This means that we fit destinations to suit our
clients, their requirements, and most importantly,
their budget. Whereas, travel agents generally fit
clients around the destination, using standardised
tours and packages.
When we customise your programme, one of our key
considerations is travel time to and from each
activity. We also incorporate into your customised
programme other factors such as strategic or
tactical initiatives, brand alignment, team
challenges.
Effectively, we work as an extension of your
in-house team. This is an important distinction,
particularly since we do not work on a
commission-basis. Just like an accountant or lawyer,
we charge professional fees for our work. This means
we act in your interests when customising your
programme and negotiating pricing for example. We
are accountable to your team and management in how
your money is spent and the 'experiential return'
delivered.
Ultimately, our project customisation goal is where
we end up with providing you an adventure programme
that you would have done for yourself... if you knew
